From Psalm 148
Praise the Lord from the heavens!
Praise him from the skies!
Praise him, all his angels!
Praise him, sun and moon!
Praise the Lord from the earth,
you creatures of the ocean depths,
wild animals and all livestock,
small scurrying animals and birds,
young men and women,
old men and children.
Let them all praise the name of the Lord.
For his name is very great
his glory towers over the earth and the heavens!

Surely His goodness and mercy shall daily attend you

Song: Never Shakes, Never Will
By Kirk Sauers & Paul Ranheim
VERSE 1:
Where does my help come from?
Where does my help come from?
When the trouble rolls and the tempest blows?
And my hope is gone?
Where can my faith be strong?
Where can my faith be strong?
When all I hear is the voice of fear
And it rages on
CHORUS:
I lift my eyes to the heavens
I lift my eyes to the hills
My God surrounds me like mountains
He never shakes, never shakes, never will
VERSE 2:
What if my world should fall?
What if my world should fall?
When I’m left betrayed or my riches fade
And I lose it all?
Where does my help come from?
Where does my help come from?
When trouble rolls and the tempest blows?
And my hope is gone?
CHORUS
BRIDGE
My God is with me / a fortress mighty
His river runs to make me glad
No pain is stronger / no night is longer
Nothing can break the rock on which I stand
Chorus:
I lift my eyes to the heavens
I lift my eyes to the hills
My God surrounds me like mountains
He never shakes, never shakes, never will

Forever my heart will sing of how great You are

The moon and the stars declare who You are
I'm so unworthy, but still You love me

The song of galaxies
Reaching far beyond the milky way
Let's join in with the sound

The moon and the stars declare who You are

Prayer of Confession
Lord of all,
you have set both your love and your redemption on all things—
from humanity to animal life,
from plants to human culture—
not one atom in the universe sits outside of your redeeming plan.
Forgive us for neglecting to care and cultivate your world well.
Forgive us for taking part in systems that injure
rather than those that bring flourishing.
Silent Confession
Teach us to discover the worth of each thing,
to be filled with wonder and delight,
to recognize how profoundly united we are
with every creature and thing you have fashioned.
May we protect your creation
and sow beauty throughout it
that all people, places, and things
might know your tender care
and all-encompassing love.
Through Jesus alone,
Amen.
Assurance of Grace
Based on 1 Peter 2:24
Lift your heads and your hearts and receive this good news:
Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we might be dead to sin, and alive to all that is good. Know that through Christ, you are forgiven.
May the God of all grace
settle you in a place of belonging,
give you opportunity to bring forth beauty,
and enable you to bear fruit for His Kingdom. Amen.
Song: His Mercy is More
By Matt Papa and Matt Boswell
VERSE 1
What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient all knowing He counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
CHORUS
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
VERSE 2
What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What Father so tender is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest the vilest the poor
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
CHORUS
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
VERSE 3
What riches of kindness He lavished on us
His blood was the payment His life was the cost
We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

Prayer of Intercession
Song: Speak O Lord
By Stuart Townend & Keith Getty
VERSE 1:
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You
To receive the food of your holy word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us
All Your purposes, for Your glory.
VERSE 2:
Teach us Lord full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility.
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise, cause our eyes to see,
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of power that can never fail
Let their truth prevail over unbelief
VERSE 3:
Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us.
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us
Speak, O Lord, ’til your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory

Hearing God's Word
Jeremiah 29:1-11
These are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders of the exiles, and to the priests, the prophets, and all the people, whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. This was after King Jeconiah and the queen mother, the eunuchs, the officials of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen, and the metal workers had departed from Jerusalem. The letter was sent by the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. It said:
“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: Build houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat their produce. Take wives and have sons and daughters; take wives for your sons, and give your daughters in marriage, that they may bear sons and daughters; multiply there, and do not decrease. But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream, for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you in my name; I did not send them, declares the Lord. For thus says the Lord: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Leader: This is the word of the Lord.
All: Thanks be to God.

Song: How Great Thou Art
Stuart Wesley | Keene Hine
Verse 1
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
CHORUS
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
VERSE 2
And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in,
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
CHORUS
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
VERSE 3
When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation
and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
and there proclaim: “My God how great Thou art!”
CHORUS
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Benediction
Based on Numbers 6:24-26
The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make His face to shine upon you,
and be gracious unto you.
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
and give you peace,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
